Fibre-optic communication is a method of transmitting information from one place to another by sending pulses of light through an optical fibre. The company maintains a high quality of duct laying, backfilling and reinstatement undertaken by experience and competent gangs.

North & South have installed over 100 kilometres of fibre optic ducting and cable in recent years. We offer a full turnkey operation including design, plan, installation, splicing, testing and commissioning. We also provide 24 hours a day, 365 days a year emergency response service in which we are fully equipped to deal with all eventualities. This could include rebuilding inspection chambers, resetting of inspection chambers covers, repairs to damaged or collapsed drains and relaying of defected reinstatement. North & South also have the capabilities for trenchless technology including thrust boring and directional drilling.
